ProMiMiC is led by the Research group Lifelong Learning in Music of Hanze University Groningen. Partners in the project are University Medical Center Groningen, Research group Nursing Diagnostics of Hanze University, Royal Conservatoire The Hague, Haaglanden Medical Centre, University of Music & performing Arts Vienna, Allgemeines Krankenhaus Vienna, Royal College of Music / Centre of Performance Science London, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital London, and Foundation MiMiC Muziek. The project is co-financed through the RAAK-Pro programme of Regieorgaan SIA, part of the Dutch Research Council (NWO).

MiMiC (2015-2017)

Foundation MiMiC Muziek was involved in the completed research project Meaningful Music in Healthcare (MiMiC) that explored “what music moves in the hospital setting”.

The members of the Foundation MiMiC Muziek have since offered trainings, lectures and presentations on person-centred music-making in the MiMiC-practice in, e.g. higher music education (see Presentations).
